Martial Club (1981)

When Master Lu (Jue Tit-Woh) and his son Lu Shanhou (Lee King-Chue) disrupt the Lion Dance of Master Zheng (Wilson Tong)'s students, it sets in motion a dangerous rivalry between the two schools. The mutually respected Master Wong Qiying (Ku Feng) is brought in to mediate a truce, but it only serves to delay another inevitable confrontation. Master Wong's son, Wong Fei Hung (Gordon Liu) is best friends with one of the top students of Master Zheng's school, Wang Yinlin (Robert Mak), and their exploits drag a martial arts master from the north (Johnny Wang) into being a key player in the struggle between the schools of Master Lu and Master Zheng.

The Beasts (1980)

A small party of men and cute women are attacked by some local miscreants ("beasts"). One of the women is brutally raped and the police are called. The miscreants, referred to as "disco boys" by one observer, are rounded up by the inept cops, but the cops fail to make a case against them. A local man, upset that justice has not been served, decides to exact his own (in deep scarlet)

Ghost Snatchers (1986)

A big party is going on in a newly built skyscraper. Under their very nose, sultry Judy is snatched by ghosts. She is recruited by the ghost king to lure target people into death. Chee comes to the building as a guard since his uncle Fang is the chief of the guards. Chee sees Judy in trapping people with the help of ghosts. Chee's girlfriend leads Fang and Chee to consult a lady exorcist who finds out that the ghost king is determined to kill all people having a negative horoscope.

Yes, Madam (1985)

Yes, Madam! is a good action movie with some comedy mixed in. Michelle Yeoh is excellent as a cop who must track down a stolen passport that contains vital evidence to prove some documents were forged. When the passport is stolen, she teams up with Cynthia Rothrock to track down the bumbling thieves (led by Tsui Hark) in order to find the people behind the forgery.

Where's Officer Tuba? (1986)

Officer Tuba (Samo, of course) isn't much of a cop. About all he can do is play the tuba in the police band. When his colleague, a sergeant (David Chiang) is killed, he makes Tuba promise to take revenge. And Chiang means it. His ghost keeps coming back, to annoy Tuba into keeping his promise. Tuba is a coward, and resists, but Chiang fights back by making Tuba do embarrassing things, including making him appear an idiot in front of his sweetheart (Joey Wong) and her parents.
